CAUSES:
1. Medications: Diuretics or Corticosteroids
2. Cushing's syndrome
3. Gastrointestinal wound drainage

5. Nasogastric suction is prolonged
6. Excessive diaphoresis
7. Kidney diseases
8. Fasting
9. Alkalosis
10. Hyperinsulinism
11. Water intoxication
