The result of the Philippine Nursing (NLE) Licensure (board) Examination which was held in Manila and all Regional Offices last June 1 & 2, 2008 has been released by the PRC.

RESULTS RELEASED IN THIRTY-FIVE (35) WORKING DAYS
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 27,765 out of 64,459
passed the Nurse (First Timers, Repeaters, Removals) Licensure Examination given by the
Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo,
Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last June 2008. The result of
examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of her
liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The members of the Board of Nursing are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Leonila
A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Yolanda C. Arugay
and Amelia B. Rosales.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath
Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces
passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1”
picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary
stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial
Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2008-2011. Successful
examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered
Professionals.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination in Manila
as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before
the Board on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19 and 20, 2008, with morning (8:00 A.M.) and
afternoon (1:00 P.M.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. All
must come in their white gala uniform, nurses cap, white duty shoes, without earrings,
hair not touching the collar and without corsage.
Admission tickets for the Manila oathtaking will be available starting August 1, 2008 in
your respective colleges of Nursing. Walk-in inductees who wish to join the Manila oathtaking
ceremonies may secure admission tickets at the Philippine Nurses’ Association, 1663 F.T.
Benitez Street, Malate, Manila on a strictly first come first serve basis.

I think we need a better system for these kind of dental problems and woes. It seems like everyone is having problems with their teeth and it looks like we are about to enter yet another recession. . .I’m honestly a little scared these days about how I can support my family. We need to have a discussion on REAL resources out there to help single mothers like us take care of our family... I know about
